Our Research Presented at the ISPRS 2026 Congress in Toronto

The results of the work carried out as part of the “Digital Journey Through Muskau Arch Geopark” project were presented during a poster session at the ISPRS 2026 Congress, held in Toronto from 4 to 11 July 2026.

The poster, entitled „Digital Tools for Interpretation of Reconstructed Mining Features. Project Digital Geopark Muskau Arch” , presented the use of modern technologies for the documentation and digital reconstruction of the mining heritage of the Muskau Arch Geopark. The presentation covered, among others, field data acquisition, the use of archival materials, developed 3D models of former mining sites, and augmented reality (AR) solutions.

As part of the research, a scientific paper was also prepared and published in the ISPRS Archives. It is available at:
