We are pleased to announce that the project “A Digital Journey through the Łuk Mużakowa Geopark” has been approved for funding under the INTERREG Poland–Saxony Cooperation Programme 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The project will be implemented in cooperation with the team from TU Bergakademie Freiberg and the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation UNESCO Global Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen / Łuk Mużakowa.
The aim of the project is to increase the recognition of the Muskau Arch Geopark by expanding the tourist offer with digital and virtual models of cultural and mining heritage, including a virtual reality (VR) application.
