On April 27, 2026, a meeting of the partners of the project “Digital Journey through the Muskau Arch Geopark” took place.
During the meeting, the partners summarized the activities carried out so far and discussed plans for the upcoming stages of the project. Particular attention was given to the progress of work conducted by partners from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, who presented the results of 3D modeling of selected industrial heritage objects, including the former brickworks building, a shaft, and a historic railway.
An important part of the discussion also focused on planned promotional activities, including the co-organization of the 11th National GEO-PRODUCT Forum, which serves as a key platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of geotourism and geological heritage.
In the final part of the meeting, the opportunities for further development of the project were discussed, including its extension by four additional 3D models, the development of a narrative map, and the organization of an additional promotional event.
The project “Digital Journey through Muskau Arch Geopark” is co-financed by the European Union with funds from the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Poland-Saxony 2021-2027 INTERREG Cooperation Program.
